§ Sir EDWARD GOULDINGasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether efforts are still being made to induce men in the administrative branches of the Service to transfer to the Infantry; whether this applies to the Royal Army Medical Corps and the Artillery in those divisions of the new armies which have already been formed?
§ Mr. TENNANTNo transfers from administrative services to the Infantry are at present being carried out. If such transfers were required men would not be taken from units of the new armies already formed.
