HC Deb 12 May 1915 vol 71 cc1671-2W
Mr. T. P. O'CONNOR

asked the Postmaster-General on what date he proposes to invite tenders for the mail contract to Ireland; and whether he will consider the desirability of issuing the invitation for these tenders at some considerable time before 1917, so as to give other companies besides the Dublin Steam Packet Company an opportunity of making such modifications of their service and equipment as to enable them to perform the work if desired to do so?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I have not yet arrived at a decision in the matter, but I appreciate the point raised and will bear it in mind.
