HC Deb 04 May 1915 vol 71 c989W
Sir W. BULL

asked the Under-Secretary for War whether a National Reservist, who signed the form of undertaking for general service in February, 1914, and whose services were taken over by the Admiralty, is not entitled to receive the bounty of £10 provided by the official regulations; and, if so, whether it is proposed to take steps to treat service in the Navy as being covered by the undertaking?

Mr. H. BAKER

The National Reserve was instituted for military purposes, and I regret that it is not possible to interpret the Regulations in the way suggested by the hon. Member.
