Mr. CATHCART WASONasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will cause to be displayed at the various Labour Exchanges copies of the actual prices of food this year and last in order to give fullest publicity to actual prices?
Mr. ROBERTSONThe average prices of food which were circulated recently with the Votes relate to the United Kingdom as a whole, and would not necessarily coincide with the prices current in any particular district. I do not think therefore that any useful purpose would be served by displaying such general averages at the local Labour Exchanges.
