HC Deb 09 March 1915 vol 70 c1262W
Mr. ELLIS DAVIES

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is now in a position to state why Private T. Llewelyn Davies, No, 1168, 173rd company, Army Service Corps, 85th brigade, 28th division of the British Expeditionary Force, was on two occasions, although he asked to be registered as a Nonconformist, supplied with a disc which described him as a member of the Church of England?

Mr. TENNANT

I am informed that the man referred to by my hon. Friend was discharged from the Territorial Force for enlistment into the Regular Army on the 8th December last and has proceeded to the front. In the circumstances I am afraid it is so difficult to pursue this inquiry that I hope my hon. Friend will not press me to continue it.
