§ Mr. GINNELLasked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) what arrangements the Department have made for an adequate supply of good agricultural seed in Ireland this season in view of the increase in tillage; and whether the arrangements include the 585W obtaining of Treasury Grants-in-Aid, as is done in certain cases in England?
§ Mr. T. W. RUSSELLThe supplies of agricultural seed in Ireland for sowing in the coming spring appear to be ample, and the quality, on the whole, satisfactory. There is no reason to anticipate that farmers will have difficulty in obtaining sufficient seed for the increased area of tillage contemplated The agricultural instructors throughout the country are in a position to advise farmers where seed may be obtained. No special arrangements
