§ Mr. TOUCHEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will cause arrangements to be made whereby the privilege of acting as agents for obtaining subscriptions to the War Loan through the Post Office for sums from £5 to £200, at present restricted to bankers, may be extended to members of the Stock Exchange?
§ Mr. McKENNAIf members of the Stock Exchange desire that arrangements should be made for the extension to them of the duty undertaken by the banks without charge of receiving small subscriptions to the War Loan through the Post Office, I should be happy to meet their wishes, but I doubt if any useful purpose would be served.
