asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland if he can state the number of Orders made in Ireland up to the present under Section 1 of the Intoxicating Liquor (Temporary Restriction) Act, 1914, giving in each case the closing hour fixed?

The number of Orders made in Ireland since the outbreak of War under Section 1 of the Intoxicating Liquor (Temporary Restriction) Act, 1914, is twenty-five, made up as shown in the following table, in which no account is taken of Orders made and subsequently found to be invalid under the terms of the Statute; or of those which merely renewed expiring Orders:—

Ore 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Seven 8 p.m. on all week-days.
One 8 p.m. on Saturday only.
One 9 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
One 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 8.30 p.m. on Saturday.
Twelve* 9 p.m. on all week-days.
One 10 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 9 p.m. on Saturday.
One 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 9 30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
* Of these twelve Orders one was in force for one day and one for two days only during the passage of troops through the localities affected.
