HC Deb 10 February 1915 vol 69 c584W
Mr. WILLIAM THORNE

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the case of John Ershine, a soldier who has been invalided home from the front with an ulcerated leg, and in consequence those responsible for distribution of the funds in connection with the Sailors' and Soldiers' Families Association refused to have anything to do with him; whether he is aware the man in question has been sent to Alloa workhouse; and if he intends taking any action in the matter?

Mr. BAKER

If the hon. Member is referring to John Erskine, late of the South Wales Borderers, his case is at present under the consideration of the Chelsea Commissioners.
