HC Deb 21 December 1915 vol 77 c202W
Mr. HENRY M'LAREN

asked the Under-Secretary for War whether he will revise the list of reserved workers in the hosiery trade so as to include finishers or trimmers; and whether he is aware that the starring in this trade has been apparently done by persons who had no knowledge of the trade and is looked upon in the trade as having been carried out in an unsatisfactory manner?

Mr. TENNANT

The War Office is not responsible for preparation of the List of Reserved Trades. This work is being done by a Committee sitting at the Board of Trade. The question, therefore, should be addressed to the President of the Board of Trade.
