HC Deb 27 April 1915 vol 71 c600W
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) whether he is now in a position to estimate, by counties, the total increase in the area of tilled land in Ireland this year as compared with last, with the principal crops in which the increase appears and the principal causes to which the smallness of the increase is due?

Mr. RUSSELL

The Department are not yet in a position to furnish statistics showing the area under crops in Ireland for the present year, as the obtaining of such statistics is carried out during the month of June. Full particulars are not available for publication until about six weeks later.
