HC Deb 20 April 1915 vol 71 cc210-1W
Mr. RAWLINSON

asked the President of the Board of Trade what are the exact steps which have been taken to prevent the importation of cotton into Germany and Austria?

Sir E. GREY

As stated in my reply to the hon. Member for Ealing to-day, every effort is being made, in accordance with the terms of the Order in Council of 11th March, to prevent any seaborne commodities of all kinds from reaching the enemy.
