HC Deb 25 November 1914 vol 68 c1146W
Mr. HORNER

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland when the Grant of £40,000 provided by the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Act, 1914, was paid to the Board; and what is the cause of the delay in having it applied?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Grant of £40,000 referred to by the hon. Member has been voted by Parliament, and will be paid over to the Intermediate Education Board as soon as the statutory rules for its application come into operation.

Mr. HORNER

asked when the Rules for carrying into effect the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Act, 1914, will be laid before Parliament?

Mr. BIRRELL

It is hoped to lay these Rules before Parliament at an early date.
