HC Deb 21 May 1914 vol 62 cc2143-4W
Mr. OLIVER LOCKER - LAMPSON

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the large body of general support accorded to the Traffic in Titles (No. 2) Bill on its First Reading, he will adopt it as part of the Government's legislative programme or afford it facilities for a Second Reading?

The PRIME MINISTER

I fear that, owing to the existing demands on the time of the House of Commons, the Government do not see their way to adopt either of the hon. Member's suggestions.
