The cost of administering the scheme is provided for in the Estimates.
§ Mr. WILLIAM THORNEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the position of the casual workman under the National Insurance Act, in relation to any regulations to be made by the Insurance Commissioners, is to be taken into consideration in allocating the Grant proposed in the Budget for national health insurance purposes?
§ Mr. WEDGWOOD BENNThe cost of administering any scheme for dealing with casual labour will not fall on the contributions of employed persons, but will be met from moneys provided by Parliament.
