§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Local Government Board have found it necessary on several occasions to take proceedings against officials who have been guilty of wilful default in their non-compliance with Article 25 of the Public Bodies Order, 1904, in spite of repeated communications applying for the required abstracts. As already stated, the secretary of the Westmeath County Council has not, in the opinion of the Board, been guilty on any occasion of such wilful default.
