Mr. PEASEMy right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. The Regulations under which special Grants will be made to necessitous areas in 1914–15 will be published shortly. I may add that the sum of £515,000 mentioned by the hon. Member represents the estimated additional cost of these Grants and of the proposed new Grant in aid of expenditure under the Education (Provision of Meals) Act.
