§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe total of the German Naval Estimates for 1914–15 is £23,432,659. The comparative figures asked for are of necessity largely conjectural and cannot accurately be determined. I must therefore ask my hon. Friend to refer to the reply I gave him on 28th March last and to the information supplied in the Return standing in the name of my hon. Friend the Member for East Northants. Some reference to this subject was also made by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary in the House of Commons on the 16th March. 1911.
