§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELThe Local Government Board do not fix the cost of building caretakers' houses at schools. They have only to decide whether they will sanction loans in respect of plans which have received the approval of the Board of Education, and, in this connection the Local Government Board have made it known that they will not sanction loans in excess of the sums referred to in the question. In these circumstances the second and third parts of the question do not arise.
