Year. Approximate number of persons whose total incomes were for Super Tax purposes brought below £5,000 by the allowance for life-assurance premiums. Approximate amount of Super Tax at 6d in the which would have pound been payable. (a) if the deduction for life-assurance premiums were entirely inadmissible.
