§ Dr. CHAPPLEasked the President of the Local Government Board what action has been taken or is about to be taken by the London County Council, under the Metropolitan Ambulances Act, 1909, with a view to provide an adequate ambulance service for accidents and sudden illness occurring in streets and public places in London?
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELI am informed that the London County Council, at their meeting on the 10th March last, adopted a tentative scheme for an ambulance service under the provisions of the Metropolitan Ambulances Act, 1909, and the London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1913, and I understand that some ambulances have been ordered.
