§ Mr. LYNCHasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he is aware that in the Kildysart district of West Clare, at Ballylean, Boultidoolin, Gurtglass, Clounsnantike, and other places there are tenant farmers paying rents 30 per cent. to 40 per cent. above those of neighbouring farmers whose landlords have agreed to land purchase, and that some of these tenants are threatened with evictions; and whether the Congested Districts Board will turn its attention to this part of West Clare in order to deal with the estates concerned under the Land Act of 1909?
