Mr. DUNDAS WHITEasked the President of the Board of Trade whether there will be laid before the Select Committee on Short Weight a tabulated statement of the various statutory provisions which have been passed and of the various statutory rules and orders which have been made relating to weights and measures since the consolidating Act of 1878, in order that the attention of the Committee may be directed to the question of whether there should be a fresh consolidation of the law?
