HC Deb 21 April 1914 vol 61 c771W
Mr. CLANCY

asked the Chief Secretary whether his attention has been directed to the dispute between the members of the Dublin Typographical Provident Society and the Dublin master printers; whether no improvement in the rate of wages or in the number of working hours has taken place in the case of the Dublin printing trade for almost a quarter of a century, while the cost of living has increased enormously; whether the present demands of the workers are of the most modest character and yet have been refused; and whether he will make inquiry into this subject and endeavour to bring this dispute to an amicable conclusion?

Mr. BURNS

My right hon. Friend has asked me to reply to this question. I understand that this dispute is now settled.
