HC Deb 02 April 1914 vol 60 c1367W
Mr. CARR-GOMM

asked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East, as representing the Insurance Commissioners, whether any decision has been arrived at as a result of the conferences on the effect of the National Insurance Act on casual labour in the Port of London; and whether the Insurance Commissioners are now in a position to make arrangements in order to carry out the terms of Section 19 of the National Insurance Act, 1913?

Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN

The Commissioners are still in consultation with the various interests concerned, and it is not yet possible to say when the draft special order will be published.
