HC Deb 31 March 1913 vol 51 c47W
Captain CRAIG

asked the Secretary of State for War, with reference to the recent reduction of the garrison in South Africa and the consequent saving in the Estimates, is any compensation to be made to the regiments brought home before their recognised tour in the country expired?

Colonel SEELY

I am not aware that the troops in question have suffered any loss in respect of which a claim to compensation arises.
