Mr. ROBERTSONNo instructions to the effect suggested in the question have been given, and I understand that it is not the practice of the Labour Exchanges to differentiate between unemployed workmen according to their dress, except of course in the comparatively few cases in which the type of vacancy notified by an employer is one for which suitable dress is a necessary qualification.
