§ Mr. HAYES FISHERasked the President of the Board of Education whether, in view of the fact that the local education authorities are now about to submit their estimates for expenditure for the year 1913–14, he will immediately issue the Regulations governing the Grants to these local education authorities for training boys for a career at sea in the British merchant service?
§ Mr. TREVELYANThe Regulations will not come into force until the 1st August this year. They are at present the subject of discussion between the Board and other Government Departments and the institutions concerned, and they will be issued shortly.
