Mr. BUXTONAlthough isolated complaints have been made to the Board of Trade as to rates charged by shipping conference lines, no requisition has been made for the services of the Board in the settlement of any dispute of a general character between merchants and conference lines. No associations of merchants have been registered by the Board of Trade for the purposes contemplated by the Royal Commission on Shipping Rings.
