§ Mr. ACLANDAs regards the first part of the question, I have received a full report which contains not the slightest suggestion that the house to which the hon. Member presumably refers was of the character described. It seems, on the contrary, to have been an ordinary lodging-house. As regards the second part, the house was tenanted by a woman, an Italian by birth, and the wife of a Maltese British subject. I cannot accept the statements of fact contained in the question as accurate.
