Secretary's Office 81 Accountant-General's Department 31 Engineering Department— Engineer-in-Chief's Office 78 Superintending Engineers' Offices 265 London Postal Service 17 London Telephone Service 165 Savings Bank Department 265 Stores Department 209 Dublin—Secretary's Office 6 Edinburgh—Secretary's Office 2 Assistant clerks serving in the other Departments (except the Accountant General's Department, where they have been introduced only quite recently) are considered for promotion to the class next above them in their own offices, which is not the second division.
