§ Sir HENRY HAVELOCK-ALLANasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware of the injustice done to old and disabled members of friendly societies who are ineligible to become insured persons under the National Insurance Act, 1911, and who by reason of the passing of that Act are precluded from obtaining medical benefit except at an increased cost; and whether he will consider the advisability of an Exchequer grant towards the cost of providing such benefit?
