§ Mr. MALCOLMasked the Prime Minister whether anything has been done to carry out the recommendation of the Royal Commission on Public Records, as to the revision of the institutions to which gratis 618W copies of the historical publications of the Record Office are sent, and especially as to the inclusion in such list of the more important public libraries; and whether, if no steps have yet been taken in the matter, it is the intention of His Majesty's Government to act upon the recommendation?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe list of institutions to which the historical publications of the Record Office are sent gratis as issued has not been revised since the issue of the first Report of the Royal Commission on Public Records; but the matter will be carefully considered with the other recommendations of the Royal Commission.
