Captain CRAIGasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he is aware that on the 20th June last the manager of the creamery at Boherbee, near Kanturk, county Cork, gave notice to the holder of a farm which is claimed by another person that no more milk would be accepted from the farm in question; whether he is aware that this notification was the result of an intimidating notice served on the creamery; and whether steps are being taken to prevent this interference with the farm referred to and its owner?
§ Mr. BIRRELLI am informed that threatening notices were received by the secretary and manager of the creamery and that they have refused to take milk from the holder of the farm referred to. The police are endeavouring to trace the sender of the threatening notices and are protecting the farm by patrols.
