§ Mr. MASTERMANThe answer is in the affirmative. The maximum amount available for the expenses of the society itself is 3s. 5d., the remaining 3d. representing the sums payable to insurance 425W committees for their expenses of administration. Any saving on this sum will go towards creating a surplus on valuation, which can be devoted to giving members of the society any of the additional benefits specified in the Fourth Schedule.
