§ Mr. McKENNAMy right hon. Friend has asked me to reply to this question. I received a short report of the proceedings at this conference from the inspector who attended it on behalf of the Home Office, but I think it is hardly of sufficient general interest to justify its publication as a special report. The proceedings at the conference consisted largely of the reading of papers on a variety of subjects, which will, no doubt, be published in the transactions of the conference, and some account of the conference will appear in the Annual Report of the Chief Inspector of Factories for 1912.
