§ Mr. C. DUNCANasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the fact that in six out of the eight largest Government Departments it is not the practice for clerks employed on overtime either to forego the usual Saturday half-holiday or to sacrifice payment for the first three hours of any overtime which they may work, he will take steps immediately to withdraw the statement contained in a circular letter of 22nd November last that the practice is a general one?
