§ Sir WILLIAM BULLasked the Chancellor whether he is aware of the action of relieving officers in admitting domestic servant girls to the infirmary or workhouse when the latter find they have no homes to go to, and cannot provide board, lodging, and all the extras on 7s. 6d. a week; and will he take steps to protect the ratepayers from being compelled to support these poor young women after contributing to the National Insurance Act?
