§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEOn the 31st January, 1913, the total number of officials in the Land Valuation Office (Great Britain) was 4,130, of whom 901 were qualified valuers, and the remainder were clerks and valuation assistants acting under qualified valuers responsible for their work. The total salaries amounted to £490,818 9s.
