asked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether any new regulations relating to the compensation to be paid to the owners in the case of swine slaughtered by reason of an outbreak of swine fever have been issued by the Board; if so, when such regulations were issued, and to whom; and from what date such regulations came into effect?

The Board have no power to vary the conditions prescribed by Section 16 of the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894, subject to which compensation is payable for swine slaughtered on account of an outbreak of swine fever.
