§ Captain CLIVEasked the Prime Minister if, before the House meets again, he will confer with the authorities of the House as to the possibility of placing the Official Reporter at the Table, so as to ensure the utmost possible degree of accuracy in the Official Reports of Debates?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI do not see any necessity for the change suggested by the hon. and gallant Member. It appears to me that the duties of the Official Reporter are adequately performed under the existing system.
