asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what were the cash balances at the credit of Votes of Parliament in the books of the Paymaster-General on the 31st March in each year for 1904 to 1913, inclusive, under the heads of Consolidated Fund Services, Army, Navy, Civil Services, Treasury Chest, Civil Contingencies, and Sundry Deposit Accounts; and what was the total amount standing at the close of business on the 31st of March on the Paymaster-General's account at the banks of England and Ireland in the same years?
