HC Deb 21 April 1913 vol 52 c55W
Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that women at Twickenham, Surrey, are acting as recruiting sergeants for the Territorial Force; and if he intends taking any action in the matter?

Colonel SEELY

I am not aware of these particular proceedings, but I see no objection to them.

Mr. WRIGHT

asked the Secretary of State for War how many of the 260,000 officers and men in the Territorial Force have done their musketry course on an open range during the past year?

Colonel SEELY

There are no statistics available at the War Office to enable me to give the required information.
