HC Deb 21 April 1913 vol 52 c57W
Mr. OLIVER LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Home Secretary what reason he has for believing that the communication referring to the St. David's Mining Development Company was received after notice of the question in regard to it was given, and his grounds for doubting the bona fides of the representations?

Mr. McKENNA

Notice of the question was given on the 14th. The letter was registered in the Home Office on the 15th, but I find on inquiry it may possibly have been delivered on the 14th. My grounds for doubting thebona fides of the representations are those I gave in my reply to the hon. Member last Thursday.
