HC Deb 01 April 1913 vol 51 c219W
Mr. MAURICE HEALY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether application has been made by the Tobacco Trade Associations to the Customs and Excise Department in Cork and other cities for lists of persons licensed to sell tobacco; and whether the information has been refused; and, if so, on what grounds?

Mr. MASTERMAN

It is the fact that the information in question has been applied for in Cork, and has been refused. Information as to the names of persons who obtain licences to carry on trades is not published, and the refusal is in accordance with the general rule of the Department.
