§ Mr. ROWLANDSasked the President of the Local Government Board how many cottages have been built in the county of Kent under the Housing, Town Planning, etc., Act; in which districts they are situated; and whether he can give particulars as to the number of rooms and the rents charged?
§ Mr. BURNSI have sanctioned a loan by the Malling Rural District Council for the erection of six dwellings, each containing a living room, a scullery, three bedrooms, etc., of which the rent proposed was 3s. 6d. a week, inclusive of rates. I have now before me an application from the town council of Gillingham for sanction to a loan for the purchase of land for housing purposes.
