Member; but certain figures are available as regards the number of ex-soldiers and ex-sailors appointed as established postmen and porters during the years 1909, 1910, and 1911, which may perhaps answer his purpose. The following is a Return showing the number of vacancies for established postmen and porters in England, Scotland, and Ireland, filled by ex-soldiers and ex-sailors during the years 1909, 1910, and 1911, and the total number of such vacancies:—
