HC Deb 22 October 1912 vol 42 cc1958-9W
Mr. COURTHOPE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his atten-

tion has been called to the verdict of manslaughter against some person on board the barque "Lawhill" responsible for the sinking of the fishing ketch "Naomi and Lizzie" in Bye Bay; and whether the necessary steps have been taken to secure the prompt arrest of the guilty party?

Mr. BUXTON

My attention has been called to the verdict of the jury in the case to which the hon. Member refers, and I am informed by the coroner that he has communicated with the Director of Public Prosecutions.
