HC Deb 22 October 1912 vol 42 c1965W
Mr. LEICESTER HARMSWORTH

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether his attention has been called to the proposed discontinuance by the Highland Railway Company on 31st October of the 10.50 p.m. train from Inverness to the South; whether he is aware that extreme inconvenience will result to the northern counties in Scotland if the course proposed is carried out; whether he has received representations on the subject from public bodies in the North; and whether he will represent to the proper authorities the inadvisability of discontinuing the service referred to and the public inconvenience and delay which would be caused thereby?

Mr. MUNRO

asked the same question.

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I would refer my hon. Friends to the oral answer which I gave to a similar question by the hon. Member for Orkney and Shetland to-day.
