§ Mr. DAVISON DALZIELasked the Secretary to the Treasury if he is aware that the acting clerk of the county of London Insurance Committee received on or about 30th August last an application for sanatorium treatment from Mr. G. Akers, a member of the Lorne Lodge of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows Approved Society, No. 123, and on or about 15th September a similar application from Mr. H. Weatherstone, also a member, of the Lorne Lodge of the same approved society; and will he say whether either of the above-mentioned applicants has received sanatorium treatment, and, if not, what is the cause of the delay?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI am informed that in neither of these cases was treatment in a sanatorium recommended as suitable by the medical adviser to the committee, and that both are now receiving the treatment recommended by him.
